About the event
We had too much fun learning together over ice cream this summer to stop when the season changed. So we’re keeping the workshops—and the ice cream—going year-round with Inside Scoop, a new series featuring practical ideas, local experts, plenty of conversation, and, of course, a scoop of ice cream.
Business strategist Kathleen Lawson is kicking things off with What Matters Next: Take Control of Your Time, Your Priorities, and Your Business
Running a business means there is always more you could be doing. When everything feels important, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by the list, jump from one thing to another, and feel like there’s never enough time.
But the problem may not be time. It may be that you haven’t made some important decisions yet.
In this interactive workshop, business strategist Kathleen Lawson will walk you through three decisions that can help you take control of your time, your priorities, and your business. You’ll think about what matters next (and what can wait), identify repeated decisions you can turn into routines, and look at how you’re using and protecting your time.
You’ll leave with practical ideas you can put to work right away - and a clearer plan for running your business with more focus, structure, and intention.
The workshop and conversation will run from 2:00 to 3:30 PM, followed by an optional Stay & Connect hour until 5:00 PM. Bring your laptop if you’d like to cowork, continue the conversation, or put what you’ve learned into practice while it’s still fresh.
