About Good Company Workspace
Small on purpose.
Good Company Workspace is an independent coworking, meeting, and gathering space in downtown Marlborough, created around a simple idea: where we work matters.Sometimes we need quiet and focus. Sometimes we need a whiteboard and a few other brains in the room. And sometimes, we simply work better with a little good company nearby.
How Good Company started
Good Company started, appropriately enough, with good company.
I’m Harmony Larson, the founder and owner of Good Company Workspace. While figuring out my own next chapter, I began spending time working alongside a friend in her Main Street office. We were each doing our own thing, but we’d talk through ideas, take breaks, grab lunch, and then get back to work. I started to notice how much easier it was to stay focused and motivated, and how much more enjoyable the workday felt with someone else nearby.
It got me thinking about all the people working from home or for themselves who might be missing that same simple thing: a place to go, people to know, and the kind of everyday connection that used to happen naturally when more of us worked alongside other people.
That idea stayed with me. What if there were a small, welcoming place downtown where you could come to get your own work done, but not always do it alone? A place that felt professional without feeling corporate, where creativity was part of the surroundings and community could grow naturally over time?
In 2025, that idea became Good Company Workspace.
Our mission
To build a welcoming local community around the way we work now, bringing together focus, connection, creativity, and professional growth in a space filled with art, ideas, and opportunities to learn from one another.
Why small on purpose?
Good Company isn’t trying to be a giant coworking center. Its size is part of what makes it work.
There are enough people around to bring a little energy and connection to the workday, but not so many that the space feels anonymous. There are professional spaces for meetings and focused work that still feel comfortable and welcoming.
And there are opportunities to get to know people naturally, without turning every interaction into a networking event.
It’s coworking on a smaller, more personal scale.
More than a place to work
Work is only part of what happens here. Good Company also creates opportunities to learn something new, meet interesting people, see and support local art, and occasionally step away from the to-do list altogether.
Our workshops, gatherings, and Art at Good Company exhibits are all part of the same idea: community, creativity, and professional growth make the workday richer.
Good Company is independently owned and woman-owned, with deep roots in downtown Marlborough and a genuine interest in helping our local professional and creative community grow.
